Maher Farrukh
Maher Farrukh is a former analyst and South Asia Team Lead for the Critical Threats Project at the American Enterprise Institute. He studies the Salafi-jihadi movement in South Asia, including al Qaeda, ISIS, and associated groups. He also specializes in the Yemen conflict. Maher has an M.A. in Security Policy Studies from the George Washington University and a dual B.A. in Political Science and International Studies with a minor in Middle East Studies from the University of Utah.
