An official from the Inernational Atomic Energy Agency confirmed on January 9 that Iran has begun enriching uranium up to 20% at the Fordo Fuel Enrichment Plant near Qom, Iran. (Bloomberg) Enrichment at 20% is near bomb-grade purity given the relative ease of enriching from 20% to weapons-grade levels of near 90%. The Fordo facility is built in a mountain complex on a Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps base.
